Rich Stedman
My art career started in 1975 when I won first place in a local photo contest. I went on to have my own darkroom, developed and printed all my own work. In 1995 I decided to try painting and took a one day workshop in oil painting. At the end of the session I had a painting I was pretty proud of. I spent a couple of years in oil and acrylic, eventually moving into watercolor in 1997 where I have been ever since.
